I have a gut feeling , we might get this guy.
I tell you why. He has never played on a good team before. He can flat out shoot the three. He is rebounding better than before but still highly inconsistent player. Just saying for a three point specialist he could be had

People are complaining about Terry and Lee's shooting and you want to bring in a player who's shooting it quite worse than them?

He has been the only guy in Toronto capable of scoring the ball ever since he arrived. Usually when teams have only 1 offensive option, those players have to score at a low efficiency since teams focus all their attention on them. His efficiency is very similar to Paul Pierce's before the big 3 era in Boston.
Chris Bosh though... I have a gut feeling , we might get this guy.

In the 21 games he played this season, he shot 31% from deep on 4.5 attempts. That's awful. He also grabbed only 7.9% of available rebounds while he was on the floor, good for 2nd worst in the league among power forwards and centers. So how exactly will a guy who can't rebound or shoot threes help the Celtics in any way?

he can shoot very well, and is a pretty good rebounder too. Quoting his numbers from this year which he spent trying to play through an injury is inaccurate.

Option for what, an extremely expensive waterboy?
Bargs makes Pau Gasol look like a tough guy, no thanks.

No way they give us Bargniani for Bass and Terry. They are trying to trade him to get a player like Pau Gasol, not to downgrade.
Bargnani is hot garbage.
The only reason Gasol is an option is because D'antoni loves stretch fours, hates Gasol and the Lakers are a mess.
Pass.
call him what you want, but the raptors won't trade him to us for Bass and Terry.
The Celtics wouldn't offer Bass and Terry

I'd do that offer, but if you replace them then I'd reject immediately.

I know he can shoot, but that doesn't mean I want him on the Celtics as a "three point specialist". As far as him being a pretty good rebounder...lets just say I strongly disagree. Among players 6'11 or taller in the history of the NBA (with at least 20mpg averaged over their career) he ranks last in career rebounding rate and career rebounds per 36 min. Let me just say that again: in the history of the NBA, no one is worse. Rondo and Lowry are about a foot shorter and they're still better on the boards than Bargnani.

No Bargs plz.
Rondo is just exceptional, he gets more boards than LOTS of PGs/SFs/SGs/PFs/Cs (aka everyone)

hes a terrible rebounder. Paul Pietce has a better career rebound rate and he's a PF/C
