While I wish there was a separate category for coaches/builders, I can't fault any of the selections. Happy for Chris Carter, long over due.

How does Sapp get in over Strahan?  That doesn't make sense.

Sapp gets a lot of credit for being a sack-producing defensive tackle in a time when 3 step drop passing plays has made his skillset all but extinct.

How does Sapp get in over Strahan?  That doesn't make sense.

Everyone else, I agree (Culp & Robinson I don't even know who they are).
Sapp and Strahan have almost identical credentials, 1 Defensive player of the year, 7 pro bowls, 4 all pro.  I think the difference was Sapp was generally considered to be the top player on a weaker defensive unit than Strahan who was on some pretty deep defensive teams and wasn't always the best player on them.
