OK, awful idea I guess. My point is that in the next few weeks we will see if the Celtics are better, worse, or the same without Rondo as they are with him. If we are better, or even the same, there is no reason to keep him.
We'll see if the Celts are better, worse, or the same without Rondo in the playoffs.

give Orlando a 2nd pick also
Yuck, I want nothing to do with Jameer Nelson and Vucevic is definitely not enough of an addition to give up Rondo for Redick. We also give up our young project center as a throw in. Nothing personal, and I know you are just looking out for what you think the best thing is for the Celtics, but this is exactly the kind of trade that would devastate me. As many have said before, Rondo has a lot more value to us than anyone else [apparently]. |

As many have said before, Rondo has a lot more value to us than anyone else [apparently].
I wouldn't have done it before the injury to rondo but the way the team has been playing since then this is the kind of trade that could really fortify our attempt at a title for this year |
