Get Well, Sully.

He still has a bright future ahead of him in Green.

All I have to say at this point, is everyone is wishing you the best Sully.  You have been a huge bright spot in our season, and we'll be pulling for you to make a full recovery.  If the surgery was a must, might as well happen now.  We can all lower our expectations a bit, and just enjoy the ride for the rest of the year, no matter what happens.

I wish I could a half TP but I can't so I'll give you one just b/c I love the first part.

My expectations haven't lowered though!

Ok, you have reminded me to keep the faith!  cmon Wilcox! haha  tp back at you for the optimism.

His back was a time bomb waiting to go off, no surprise.

Bad news since I like him so much as a player.  An underrated passer, which is a great skill for a big.

So now we rely on Wilcox being healthy...oh, crap.

KG, Wilcox, and Bass should be a decent big lineup, but it isn't, given Bass' recent play and Wilcox' perpetual injuries.

Time to start making, and not just listening, to phone calls, Danny.

Danny Ainge on Jared Sullinger: "Jared is going to be fine."

Ainge says the surgery was a "long-term" decision for Sully, says specialists told him it should fix Sully's back for good.

Danny Ainge says he doesn't expect Fab Melo to get many opportunities right now.

Ainge sad about Sully injury but has faith in Celtics: "We're not ready to cave in yet."

This is super bad news. Sully was awesome, but if this straighten his back out good, then i'm all for it. If he straighten his back out via surgery before the draft, or did it before his sophmore college year, he would of prob gone in the lotto.

Sully i bet comes back in training in better shape than now. Got a bright future with us

Same here. Sucks. I can't believe this. Guessing its the same surgery as Dwight. Well at least athleticism wasn't his game.

KG: "Dude.... What is up with yo shorts?!"

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
I've come to the conclusion that since 2009, God hates the Celtics.

[since 1986]

With the exception of the 2008 season.
I like Marcus Smart

Sounds great to me. If this is really fixing his back issue long term, and it also basically prevents us from trading him this year, it's a win for us. We aren't going to the finals this year anyway.

Went to bed without a care in the world.

WAKES UP TO THIS!!!!!!!???

But seriously. Bridge year. Push as far as we can this year, collect more assets for another run next year is what I think.
