Fab Melo will be available for the Celtics on Friday. It would be a huge surprise to see him get into Friday's game against the Magic.

I wouldn't say "huge surprise". This could very well be a blowout. The Magic are without Baby Davis and Bradley gives Nelson fits. Seeing some Melo in the 4Q is a real possibility.

Man, could you imagine if he actually got some burn tonight and looked good?

Fab Melo will be placed on the active list and will be in uniform tonight for the #Celtics

Jared Sullinger (back) was not at Celtics shootaround on Friday and is questionable against Orlando.
Sullinger got treatment on Thursday, and the fact that he didn't go through shootaround is not promising for his status on Friday. If he sits again, Brandon Bass and Jeff Green will see more playing time at power forward.

I hope Doc gives Melo some minutes so fans will stop clamoring for him.  Throw him in the deep water and see if he can swim.

Can he be worse than Jason Collins?  Collins played eight minutes on Friday, scored 1 pt, had 1 rebound, picked up 4 fouls, and was a -8 while he was on the floor.  I don't think Fab could do worse if he tried.  Fab at least has a baby hook and a 12-15 foot jumper on offense, is a better shot-blocker than Collins is, and is much more active on the glass.  Hopefully, Doc gives him a 3-4 minute stint in the 1st half.

If we don't bring in someone else, we have to think about it.

If Wilcox goes done with Sully out we are in a very bad way with our big rotation.

I can hear Tommy comparing him to Bill Russell already.

I doubt it would matter. I bet he is not on Doc's worthy of playing yet list.

Makes absolutely no sense & hurts our trade prospects of him if we suit him out & he doesn't play. May as well leave him in street clothes or nice suit!
