Oden to the Heat? Come on Danny, why are we not listed as one of the teams close to signing him? We have 2 empty roster spots and are about to go into rebuild mode, we should be all in to sign Oden.

The Boston Celtics are another team that has expressed interest, but the source said that Oden is leaning towards making a comeback with either Cleveland or Miami.
Nothing to see here

I was walking along the road with two friends
the sun was setting
suddenly the sky turned blood red
I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence
there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city
my friends walked on and I stood there trembling with anxiety
and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.

thanks Lucky, yea, I should have read it more carefully. Still, why can't we convince him to sign here? He could learn from KG and play for a great franchise! Unfortunately when he goes to south beach and Riley turns on the charm it will be all over.

What advantages do we have over Miami / Cleveland?

Both can offer equal playing time to Boston.

Both can offer more money (Cleveland in salary, Miami has less taxes)

Miami offers a better chance at a title

Miami has better weather

Cleveland is close to where Oden went to college, and is closer to Indiana

Right now, our only real advantage might be Doc Rivers.
