Hahah I don't know how we'll get past the Clippers, but I think we'll drop one against Lakers. Celtics haven't beaten the Lakers in TD Garden since our 07-08 championship year. Although we've occasionally beaten them at Staples Center in the past years, which is fine by me!

I only see 4 games(Sac,Orl,Tor,Char) that should be wins. Other than that we will be lucky to split the other 6 vs LAL,Den,LAC and Chi

Short of the Celtics getting run off the court and losing 10 straight games by double digits, I don't think the performances over the next 10 games will have any significant bearing over Danny Ainge's decision making process about what to do next.

shouldn't matter.  danny knows what he wants to do in terms of trades already.  he very well may do nothing even if it means missing the playoffs if it provides him a better opportunity to strengthen this team in the offseason.  this team has lots of talented players.  A big man FA and a decent lottery pick might get us there  for next year.

I tend to agree with others that I think Danny has likely already made up his mind.

I supose the next few games could possibly influence a little bit, but I think the decision has already been made.

Personally, I don't think much happens at the trade deadline. As long as the Celtics have a chance of making the playoffs (which they will) then I think the organization will milk this team for every ounce of postseason success it has before the "rebuilding" begins.

Honestly, I would probably do the same thing. If the team was WELL BELOW 500 then it be a different story. But I contend that as long as Paul/KG are together and the rest of the guys step up, the team has a chance of surprising alot of people (with or without Rondo.)

So the celts have some spots open - How about Allen Iverson ? Vets min. and comes off the bench and can give you 15+ points. Signing him sure couldn't hurt !

I'd say that 17-20 wins in the next 10 games would be enough to sway Danny's opinion on whether to trade or not.

One of these things is not like the others, one of these things doesn't belong......

Interesting that you chose the Denver road game as the only game we'll lose.  Why so confident in all the others, but not that game?

And for the youngsters out there that have no idea what I'm talking about...

                Should happen  Probably will Happen

Jan 30 - vs Sac       W               W
Feb  1 - vs Orl       W               W
Feb  3 - vs LAC       L               L
Feb  6 - @  Tor       W               W
Feb  7 - vs LAL       W               L
Feb 10 - vs Den       W               L
Feb 11 - @  Char      W               W
Feb 13 - vs CHI       W               L
Feb 19 - @  Den       L               L
Feb 20 - @  LAL       W               W

The Should happen is if they were contenders for a title. And if the team doesn't want to get blown up little or big.

The Probably happen is what most likely will happen. I think we will have a boost the next few games with beating Miami and playing harder with out Rondo. Then it comes back to normal. I think they win the second of back to backs, they usually do.

The CHI game could be take, they almost had it last time so that could be a toss. LAL even though its a second of the back to backs, I just can't pick LA to win that one, just can't do it...

So I say 7-3 for no trade except maybe Bass for a Center. Mostly likely 5-5, maybe 6-5 more realistically and a trade a little bigger than just Bass out.

But if they go less than 5 wins, and have an other loosing streak greater than 4. I wouldn't be surprised if DA atomic bombs the team for pics and pieces and starts the rebuild. ITs coming, buts its either now or in a couple years.
