I would say no. But I believe it's the only way of landing Lowry.

Merely a first for Kyle Lowry?

Hell yeah!

If you're implying that Lowry could be got for a first round pick(s), Bass and firsts for Lowry.

Erm, he has a PER of 21.5, and the raptors gave up a lottery pick for him. If u want a rental pg the raps will give us calderon for bass and Lee. To get lowry u gotta give up at least sully or.bradley plus lee or bass or terry

"Game 4: 4 minutes 28 seconds 87-81
Game 5:2 minutes 28 seconds 84-81
These are scores in the 4th period and time left in Games 4 and 5 in 2011 versus the Heat. The Celtics were ahead in both games and Rondo was hurt, playing with one arm."  -Pearl 131  So close, yet so far.

Lowry has been riding the pine for the last few weeks because Jose has been outplaying him. Wouldnt be surprised if we tried a bass barbossa + first rounder for Lowry and a big

I would love something like this:

Boston-

Gortat
Lowry

Toronto-

Bass (especially if they trade Ed Davis and/or Bargnani)
2013 1st Rd Pick

Phoenix-

Terry
Melo
2013 2nd Rd Pick

Yes! Lowry is only 26 yrs. old in the 2010-2011 season he played many games almost avg. a triple double. He was the starter for Houston. He was also a combo guard alongside Gragic. He's now a combo guard slash point for Toronto alongside Calderon. He's a bonafide starter who deserves to be on a team that needs a starting point like the Celtics. When Rondo comes back we could actually utilize the 2 as a combo at times or if he shows to be a much better fit, we can trade Rondo without fear... I'm All For It! It Will Happen!

No I want the Cs to keep their picks.

Too big a risk Lowry can't be flipped next year or he plays out his deal and walks.

this.

Tim Hardaway Jr can't help us much this year, and likely wouldn't help us next year either

Agreed, even in a weak draft I want the Celtics to keep their picks.  We might be a lottery team, and in that case you don't want to give up that pick until you know where it's going to fall.  Who knows?  Maybe God loves us and we get Shabazz Mohammed.

Plus, I think this is a false premise; no way the Raps give up Lowry for a 1st and one of our bad contracts.
