Danny has said he wants to be patient, see what these guys can do befor he makes a trade.
Doc is not ready to "write this teams obituary".

But kg is old, pierce is old and rondo's done for the season.
With a bunch of newly minted contracts of questionable  value  we're not in a position to blow it up.

My thinking is we run out the season with out a major trade. Maybe bass for a center if we can pull it off.
For the remainder we limit pierce and kg to a max of twenty minutes a game, call up mello after the deadline and see what the team does.
This will give the brass a chance to evaluate our assets.
If we make the playoffs kg and pierce will be rested.
If we fall out off the race sit them for the end run.
Next year rondo is back, kg and pierce are more rested then if we try and ride them hard this year, mello's more integrated and we can try one more run.
Love this team. Love the run and love em through the rebuild
