TP for starting this thread.

Rondo, you've been my favorite player to watch over the last few years, so I'll miss having you on the court. Celtics basketball won't be the same this season.

Get better, RR. We're all supporting you.

He can shoot FTs leaning on crutches.  Come back able to shoot 75%.

I know this will be a hard year for him but he can learn a lot and come back stronger in mind, spirit and body.  This isn't tragic, it's a knee injury.

Looking forward to the day Rondo is back starting for the 2013-14 Celtics.  Get well and get better!

TP to the OP.

If Rondo had it his way he probably would have been playing today. He has the heart of a warrior. Wishing him a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing him step on the court for the 2013-2014 season opener.

Knowing how much he hates not playing, he's gonna go into beast mode on his rehab. That much discussed stubborn streak of hisshould serve him well.

Get well Rajon, can't wait to see you on the parquet again.

In close games, Celtics fans are an emotional mess: "We want Rondo to shoot, we don't want him to shoot, we don't know what the hell we want."

Get well soon, Rondo. It'll be hard not watching you play for however long your recovery is, but take KG's advice and don't rush back too soon...we need you healthy for the long run.

Quote
"Rajon’s played through a lot of different things that you guys have no idea about nor will I share," said Garnett. "And, after the game, we’d kind of look at him and be like, ‘What are you doing?’ In Sacramento [playing through a hip injury in December], he shouldn’t have even played that game... He’s a tough kid, I learned that the first day I got here. It’s no surprise, that’s why the first thing I said to him was, 'Don’t play hero. You’re a human being, take care of yourself.'

Added Garnett: "That was the first thing I told him: 'Do not play Superman, take care of yourself. I know you think you're young, you’re not that young.'"

The toughness this guy shows us every season amazes me...
