At this point, simply insert in to Celtics line up.
I'd go with Irving because he's 20 and Westbrook is 24. Much higher ceiling.

Irving -- no contest. He could end up being one of the best players in the NBA.

Irving. We couldn't acquire either, though.

Irving.
He's still a great scorer, but IMHO he seems more composed as a PG than Westbrook.
Westbrook really is a pure scorer who plays PG more out of necessity than anything else. I'm not a huge fan of his attitude, his shot selection or his joy of hogging the ball.
Plus Irving is younger.

Probably Irving, but his injury woes are certainly an issue. Westbrook on the other hand, would be a fan favorite, and he hasn't had many injuries..
All in all, Irving.

I feel like Irving will be more versatile.
There's just 0 chance of getting either of them, ever. imo.

Let's say we get either for the season.
Then Rondo comes back the next season.
Westbrook can move to SG along side Rondo (Irving as well).
Now who'd you pick?

I can't put my finger on it yet but I don't really care for Westbrook. Even still I'd take Irving over any PG out there now.
You could make the argument that Rondo, Paul or Rose are better. But all of them have been hurt or are hurt.

Irving in an instant.
Irving has a better basketball mind. he is a better scorer a better facilitator and just not **** like westbrook is........
For some reason im a massive westbrook hater. I think it comes from him taking pull up jumpers over 2 defenders when there is ibaka free in the post or KD free on the wing....... When someone is taking more shots then KD... something is up
