Just thinking that with Rondo out - that obviously opens a slot for another player.  one of the issues I think they had with putting Paul into the game was having 3 Celtics when they were not playing great.  Does he get the nod?

I hope not, and I don't think he should honestly.

Has to right?  Him or Lopez.  Not sure how Stern feels about Josh Smith.

Honestly, why not?

He might retire at the end of the year, so give him the nod out of respect.

It will be Brook Lopez.

He'll be the first injury replacement regardless of position. They'll want to get a guy from Brooklyn in there and Brook Lopez has been the consensus All-Star snub in the Eastern Conference from all the articles I have read.

Lopez deserves it, and honestly, looking at the starting lineups before Rondo's injury, I thought the east was going to get crushed as the west has Griffin and Howard starting against KG as the only big guy starting for the east. Replace Rondo with a big man or else it won't be much of a game.

He was also won the fan vote for biggest snub over Lopez.

Pierce is a full 4 points above Deng in terms of PER.
