Jeff Green is the reason we won this game. His defense on Lebron was fantastic the entire game. He never let up. I am incredibly proud of and happy for Green. I hope he can keep this going.

We might as well put Tyrion in at center.

Loved his defense too. He played incredibly well. Very active.

Jeff has been great ever since we were on a winning streak about 10 games ago. I have nothing bad to say about him now . He is scoring about 10 points, rebounding a few here, passing a few out there. He is making our bench strong

I agree, tonight he was great on defense vs Lebron. I was hoping in OT he would explode to the rim for one of his dunks to get the crowed going insane

That's what he's there for.  He's not exactly a "Lebron stopper," but he hassled him and made him work all game.  I love the way he took on the challenge today.

I am so jacked from this win.

I agree absolutely 100%

Lebron was in beast mode tonight, and Jeff Green was absolutely amazing - Lebron barely got one or two open shots, everything else was tightly contested with a hand practically on the ball.

Then that massive charge he took on Wade towards the end of the game...

He wasn't too bad offensively either.

He has really made a HUGE improvement defensively lately, and I love the fact that he's stepped up defensively when he's been matched up against great scoring SF's like Durant, Lebron and Melo - it's like his defense has reached another level in those games.

Did a nice job on the rebounds as well.

If he keeps playing defense like this he's earning his paycheck, even if his offense is inconsistent.

Today marks the day where Danny's offseason effort greatly pays off.  Without all of that depth in our lineup we'd never get through a double OT game like this - these games last season we were just out of breath, but today our younger guys stepped up and helped us pull this one out.  Also that depth is going to help us with Rondo out.

There is no such thing as a LeBron stopper.

This was as good as it gets.

Green's offense was okay, his rebounding was terrible, but his defense on LeBron all game, making Bron work for his points (not that you could tell from LeBron's stat line), that was super encouraging. The sustained work on defense, very impressive.

I agree with this.  You don't stop Lebron, you just make it hard as possible on him.  Great game, great effort from Green.  C's showed a lot of guts today.

People ask why we spent the money on Green's contract. This win is why. He just needs more confidence in his offensive game. He has been playing sold defense. He will benefit from more minutes.

How was his rebounding terrible?

I think he only had about 4 rebounds, but he fought hard for a few of those and really battled. If he always rebounded with the aggression that he did today I'd be thrilled.

I'm more interested in seeing Green have some signature games on defense where he doesn't have to score for people to think he had a great game than I am interested in seeing him put together a string of 20-point games.

Jeff Green played very well today.

His defense on LeBron was very good, and the effect was visible not so much in the shots that LeBron missed as it was in the shots LeBron didn't take.  LBJ was in full-on attack mode.  He would have taken 40 shots today if we let him, but Green forced him to give up the ball several times while also keeping him off of the foul line.

34 points on 31 shots is something you can live with from LeBron.

LeBron was sleep walking and still had the stat line he had.

The more minutes that Jeff Green plays the more he will contribute.
