Mayo for Bradley.

No thank you.

I would do it in a millisecond.

An undersized SG who's ideal as a sixth man for a 22 year old who is probably the best defender at the guard position in the league?

Even if you think it's a wash, consider that the Cs would have to pay Mayo BIG BUCKS after this season to keep him.

Not worth it.

Did I miss the part where OJ Mayo became a star player? He's having a nice season I guess although I'm not seeing him playing much defense. I'm definitely not giving up AB/Melo/1st for him though.

Here is something to think about. Give Jeff Green 35 minutes a night, make him the 1st option and let him average 14 shot attempts. I'd be willing to wager his stats mirror Mayos. Also if Mayo came to the C's his numbers would look pretty similar to Green's...oh wait we have a 5 guard rotation as is so he wouldn't play more than 15 mpg.

For the Mavericks Mayo is #1 in pts, #2 in asts, #1 in mpg, #2 in spg and #1 in TOs per game. Usage is probably more telling than anything.

No way I trade Bradley for 6 months of Kaman/Mayo.

I would love mayo on this team absolutly wish the Cs traded for him last season. His offense would go along way to help counter the aging of Pierce.

With that said I dont want to see AB go for Mayo. The ideal situation would have been if the Ray trade went down and left us with Rondo, Avery and Mayo in a 3 guard rotation with rondo playing 36min and OJ/AB each getting 30.

AB did not look like an elite defender against Irving.

Bradley's shorter than Mayo.  Mayo's a better player than Bradley right now.

Not saying I'd do the trade, but man, Bradley is really overrated on this board.

Well, Irving is going to make a lot of guys look bad, but I thought somebody posted the numbers showing that Bradley did an okay job limiting him.

Here it is:

Irving was 2 for 3 and Bradley fouled him twice. Not a lot of shots vs. AB. RT @BTUMassHoops: any Synergy numbers for Kyrie vs. Bradley?

Bradley also seemed to get a lot of help guarding Irving. Sully (I think) also picked up a couple of fouls on Irving when he got past Bradley.

He means RAJON RONDO! Irving made 2 of 3 shots on AB... once you (RR) let him get hot there was not much you could do. Then add that to AB having injured ribs...

Important question here. Would the Cs maintain Bird Rights on Mayo if he doesnt pick up his option for next season (which he won't)? I think this is a significant factor in what the Cs would  give up for him. Roy?
