When did Garnett stop finishing out the first half?

Five minutes to begin the first. Five minutes rest. Five minutes at end of first and early second quarter. Another five minutes rest. Then five minutes to finish out the half. Why isn't that happening?

No clue... but we finished well, so not going to over think it right now.

Amazed we are in this game without a point guard. Excellent effort!

If only Captain wasn't this ineffective..

And he made a good play at the final possession. Thanks.

Good first half. They have kept it even. I would've taken that at opening tip.

Hubie Brown is a MORON.

That's like the 10th time he's mentioned Rondo's on-the-ball pressure and solid defense.

Has he not watched one Celtics game this season?

Does he not know that Rondo's defense has been abysmal?

He sounds like a moron to us fans.

I wonder will they fine him for flopping or have they stopped the whole flopping rule.

Our guards *cough* Rondo *cough* don't let guys blow right by them and WOW OUR DEFENSE LOOKS REALLY GOOD.  WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT NOT LETTING GUYS BLOW PAST YOU WOULD HAVE POSITIVE EFFECTS ON YOUR DEFENSE.  WOW.

Now, the offensive rebounding is another thing, but the actual defense has been superb.   Lebron and Wade - 7-18.  And since Bosh started 5-6 in the first ten minutes of the game, he is now 0-3 since then over the next 14 minutes.

I would not put Avery on Ray.  His defense is wasted on him.  Much rather have him pressuring the ball.

man, if we had a big who could get these defensive rebounds, and stop giving the heat so many chances off of misses, we would be rolling.

Shouldn't the refs HAVE to look at the monitor EVERY time a technical or double technical is called to make sure they get it correct??????

Doc needs to make Pierce simply another weapon on this team, and take away the "star player" treatment.

Pierce is still 12th in the league in usage percentage, meaning a lot of Boston's plays are run through him.  Mostly when he's standing out beyond the 3-pt line.

Doc needs Pierce to slide back a bit and become a talented role player (even in starter's minutes).  He's still the captain, he's still the truth, but...

This team is so much more dangerous when the ball is moving through everyone's hands and anyone can potentially score.

I know we all know this, but it is evident again today.

I saw what Lewis did again and I'm wondering how did Sully get a tech?
What was he supposed to do just sit there and let him do it?
