Rondo is not a closer. He doesn't have to be.

He just has to play better defense. Also stop passing it to only KG and PP in the 4th. Though i question if even that is his decision alone

So far this year PP has made 4 shots in the last minute (4th quarter or overtime) of games 5 points or closer. So has Rondo.

While we're talking about closing tight games and Rondo's defense, he's been making some big plays on that end of the court as well. Tipped that inbounds pass in the Chicago game, led to a steal and a basket. Knocked the ball lose Belinelli on his late drive (although, unluckily, the ball went straight to Hinrich). Stole the ball on one of Chicago's 1st OT possessions. He also knocked the ball lose from one of the Hawks in the last minute of regulation (I think)and we got the ball when it went out off of that Hawk.
