Who's going to take him?
Unless we ship him out of town with Rondo or Pierce, I don't see who's going to want to trade for Bass.
Trading Bass is a gamble.
We're not going to get a big name for him, and certainly wont be able to trade him just by himself unless we're getting a much worse player.
I think we're stuck with him unless we include other names and/or picks.
SInce chances are we have to keep 'em, we have to use whatever positives he have for him to help us. I think the fix with Bass is simple, do not encourage him to take jump shots. Paul Heyman said "accentuate the positives, hide the negatives". Bass is struggling mightily with his jump shots, so hide it. Let him do the positives, he's athletic, he's a bruiser, he can jump, so make him focus on crashing the boards on both sides. Let him roll, not pop on picks and make sure he's inside the paint all the time, ready to rebound. Doc has to tell him that until he consistently hit his jump shots, he has to stay in this gameplan. That way he wont hurt the team by bricking shots.
