How come everybody here wants to trade the best point guard in the game, is not his fault that Garnett and Pierce are old as fart, deal with that, Rondo is our best player, period

Not that I want to trade rondo, but Chris Paul is probably a better point guard.

Remember....this is celticsblog, there will be rondo trade threads.

I could care less at the price Rondo is at, he's better thean Paul, remember Paul is running with younger guys as their first option, contrary to Rondo

He's not on Paul's level.  But I wouldn't worry about it... we aren't going to just trade Rondo for the sake of trading him.

Per 36 min:

Paul - 18pts, 10.4ast, 3.8rbs, 13.4TO%, .890FT%, .520eFG%, PER 26.1 Off RTG: 127, Def RTG: 101

Rondo - 13pts, 10.7ast, 5.2rbs, 22.8TO%, .640FT%, .498eFG%, PER 18.2, Off RTG: 103, Def RTG: 103

I love Rondo, but come on...Chris Paul has arguably been a top 3 MVP candidate this season

Edit:
Dang photo wouldn't work.
It was a pic a of a long, slender hand and fingers, with an NBA championship ring on the middle finger and that huge hand making a can of Red Bull look very small   ;)

Only reason to trade Rondo is if we're getting CP3 and maybe Steph Curry. Otherwise, he will stay.

Guess you haven't been watching Kyrie play lately?

Yeah, but how many triple doubles Rondo have this season?

I understand that Kyrie outplayed Rajon, but Kyrie does that to everybody. Rondo still does a lot more than Kyrie is. Rondo is still a better defender (yeah I get it, he has to stop the gamble defense), rebounder and facilitator, and with the way this team is built, we are better of with a pass first PG than a shoot first one.

No one wants to trade Rondo, but many people realize that he is the only player on our roster who is worthy of another All Star in a trade return.
