Something has got to change.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

And again...mental mistake. This team...is a mess. It's one thing to lose close games to good teams. It's another to give them away with mental errors. The latter is a sign of a young team devoid of vets (see: Celtics, Boston, 2006-07). In our case...this is inexcusable.

That turnover is somehow going to be blamed on Rondo, right?

Those two points Rondo threw away by trying to throw an alley-oop to Bass when he had a layup sure would come in handy right now.  I can't believe Rondo is still pulling that crap.  I really dislike the way he disrespects the game.

Your talking about the guy that has a tripple double and has scored the last 6 or 8 boston points...
The one and the same. Throws up good numbers then does the inexplicable.
yup, hard to argue with stupid plays that cost easy points.  no excuse for it and Rondo has developed that bad habit to an extreme this year.

Props to Rondo for even giving us a shot tonight.  The team battled defensively, but he just didn't have any help on offense down the stretch.

great almost-steals but how can they not get a foul at the end?

They threw the game away with numerous bad plays in the fourth quarter and a lack of intensity earlier in the game.

Very disappointing performance. Bad result.

Ouch.  We can't even intentionally foul correctly.

on the bright side, at least I now enter games half expecting a loss so it doesn't phase me as much right now

I'm not going to blame it on Rondo, but he shouldn't have picked up his dribble there.

Those 5/6 points Pierce threw away by bobbling the ball would come in handy right now.  I can't believe Pierce is still pulling that crap.  I really dislike the way he disrespects the game.

See, sounds just as dumb like this.
