feel so bad for rondo, this is the first time in a long time i've seen him with that passion.

This.  He brought it tonight.  He made a few dumb decisions, but in general he played a heck of a game.

  • Let's Go Celtics!

Those 5/6 points Pierce threw away by bobbling the ball would come in handy right now.  I can't believe Pierce is still pulling that crap.  I really dislike the way he disrespects the game.

See, sounds just as dumb like this.

Careful, Rondo is the only guy who can be blamed for anything.

I wish that Pierce and Garnett would go away and Rondo be traded so they can get on with rebuilding. This just is not working out for anybody.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Paul Pierce in the second half: 0-2, 3 points.

Almost hoping he is injured because he's been horrifically bad lately.  We can't win with him playing like this.  He's supposed to be our go to guy we can count on for points.

Why did Pierce only take 3 shots when he had it going in the first half?  He took one shot in 8 minutes in the 3rd before sitting and then two in the fourth.

There was a lot of poor play / dumb mistakes to go around.  RR had his share, but he played like an all-star down the stretch pulling us back from 10 down.

No matter what, we can't have back to back turnovers by PP in the last minute when the game is getting decided.  Just horrible.  I admire PP's effort tonight, he wasn't settling for jump shots, he was taking it to the hole, but for whatever reason (probably too many minutes) he is stinking it up down the stretch.

The C's desperately need another go-to scorer that can get his own shot and is a big-time threat to score.  Right now our Offense is living on fumes.  PP doesn't have any daggers left it seems like.  Jet has been a huge disappointment.  Basically Rondo and KG have to have 20/10 games for us to have a chance against other good/great teams right now.

oh man, so disappointing.  good effort, better D down the stretch in the 4th, but same bad result.

Those two points Rondo threw away by trying to throw an alley-oop to Bass when he had a layup sure would come in handy right now.  I can't believe Rondo is still pulling that crap.  I really dislike the way he disrespects the game.
You have got to be kidding me. Rondo is the one that single handedly brought the Celtics back into this game.

Some of you are just ridiculous.

Why are these two things incompatible? You can't be giving away from free points off layups to pad your assists stats.  It's incredibly dumb.  When you have points in the bank, you have to take them.  It doesn't matter how great a game you had.  This is the like the 10th time Rondo's done something like that in the past few years.  I can't believe it still goes on.

I could list the number of things that EVERY player that got minutes tonight did to put us in the position we were in at the end of the game.

A point guard who has the ball in his hands the majority of the time will make mistakes. They ALL do. There is not a single perfect PG in the league. To sit there and only point out the flaws of the ONE player on the floor who even made this a game at the end is unfair, ill timed and ridiculous.

You know, I'm pretty darn mad right now we lost yet ANOTHER game.  I am not mad with the effort tonight though.  The team played hard.

That's the problem though, losses like tonight's wouldn't be so bad if we played hard every night, or at least most every night.  If we played as hard as we did tonight we wouldn't be under .500 and tonight's loss would just be one of those games against a tough opponent that you sometimes lose.

Just a thought here, but since were losing game after game anyways, shouldn't Doc start giving KG and Pierce some nights off?

Pierce looks completely gassed and useless right now.  These last 5-10 games he has been more of a detriment to the team than benefit.  Those two fumbles at the end are inexcusable.  Totally lackadaisical.

I have not been this frustrated with any sports team in years...and I am a Red Sox and Chiefs fan. I know frustration well :) This Celtics team should be so much better than they are.

I really hate to see huge changes, but it may be time. Otherwise, this could be Celtics basketball for the next five years.

Tp! The effort was definitely there tonight!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I'm sad but I don't totally blame one person tonight BUT there is nothing to say for those 2 turnovers PP had at the end... BACK TO BACK! All he did was laugh it off...

Yes - a triple double shooting 10 of 19 is always a "heck of a game."  He deserved better.

I think he needed a bit more Sully and Jeff Green tonight...and we would have won.

Trade everyone for future draft picks, none of these guys deserve to play in the TD anymore.

Seriously?

Shut up.  You make us all look stupid.  Please never discuss sports again.
