Blowing it up or not making any moves what so ever? For me the latter would definitely anger me more. A blind man could see this isn't a championship team. Either make a trade to make us one or blow it up and start planning for the future.

I hate mid-season trades, so the first one would kill me

Neither would upset or anger me.

If this season ended ugly as it threatens to, and then the team wasn't blown up over the duration of the following 6-12 months, I would be upset and angry.

Blowing it up.

I'd rather go in as the 8th seed and take our chances.

I probably shouldn't have used the word upset. Even Id be somewhat upset but id be livid if we don't do anything just to watch this team get spanked in the playoffs.

We could pull a Knicks and make the finals.

That and what would be the point of blowing it up this year? Get an okay pick in a crappy draft this year?

Why not just blow it up in the offseason.

Why are people desperate to be like the Clippers of the last 30 years and the Bobcats and the Raptors and all these crappy teams.

Give me a break Cleveland had the best player in the world and didn't get anywhere and lost him. Now they have another unbelievable talent who will be gone in a few years probably too

Sure, but we have to think realistically and not a pipe dream.

Not to mention I always want the Celtics to do well.

I'm not one of those guys that can just turn the TV off for a couple years and wait for the Celtics to get relevant again.

If you are in the playoff hunt you go for it. You don't try and lose.

Did you want to blow it up the last few years or is the a last straw type of thing?

Or do you just think we should blow it up no matter what if you aren't a 1st or second seed?

Blowing it up.

We have too much talent to overreact to a poor season. Some tweaks need to be made, and certainly some personnel changes can be made, but blowing it up would be a big mistake.

You can change the team without resorting going into rebuild mode.

This isn't football, better teams don't get upset by inferior teams. You have to be close in talent to beat a team 4 out of 7 times. The bucks aren't beating miami 4 times and we aren't either. Let me be clear blowing it up isn't my first option but doing nothing is my last.

Sorry I just can't get thrilled about trying to get ping pong balls for the next decade.

Sounds like you certainly enjoyed those good old days though!!! haha
