"Rondo allowing Kyrie Irving to score 40 points on the team Tuesday night"

this is such a biased opinion. He dropped at least 30 over Bradley

You may be correct but that's not how I remember it. I thought Rondo was on him much more than Avery.   First off, Avery only played 25 minutes.

The Nuggets have nothing to offer. Farried plays Sullinger's position, Lawson is a lateral move at best, and McGee is not worth the trouble (or his contract).

Is the plan then to have Gallinari start at PF, or have Pierce come off the bench?

I like Gallinari, but you're essentially swapping Rondo for Lawson and two career backups. Doesn't make any sense.

No, he's not correct. Revisionist history less than 24 hrs later it seems.

Irving was 2 for 3 and Bradley fouled him twice. Not a lot of shots vs. AB. RT @BTUMassHoops: any Synergy numbers for Kyrie vs. Bradley?

The defense by Rondo at 0:25, 0:31, 1:10, and 1:45 show Rondo's lack of effort defensively in the 1st half. He did play harder in the 2nd half though.

I don't want Gallo, me wants Iggy.
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Trading Rondo to the Nuggets makes no sense. I'd guess this is Ford speculating. The Cs probably are talking to Denver about attaining Mozgov not trading Rondo.

Gallinari is a starter.  He'd probably come off the bench for the Celts, but he's been starting for Denver.

I see it as Rondo for a good PG in Lawson, an impact SF in Gallinari who can eventually take Pierce's place, and an enigma of a center who is an elite shot blocker.  We shed the inferior Jeff Green and a useless piece in Collins.

I don't love it, but it's decent value.

Faried is probably one of my favorite players in the league. If we could get him in a deal for Rondo I would be happy.

Just curious what do you guys think of these deals:

1. Faried, Andre Miller and Anthony Randolph for Rondo
2. Iguodala, McGee for Rondo, Terry, Bass and Melo
3. Lawson and McGee for Rondo, Bass, Collins and Barbosa
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I love Faried, but I don't see much longterm upside. He is what he is. I hate 1, don't like not getting a ballhandler with the 2nd one, and I kind of like 3, but would need a sweetner too.

I think Iguodala could be the ball handler in 2 with Bradley playing the 1

RONDO,TERRY,LEE & BASS for LAWSON, IGOUDALA & McGEE

Boston would have to cut bait with Collins to trim 1mil in salary but I would do that deal if set on getting rid of Rondo. Avery then moves back to PG either starting or backing Lawson. And a lineup of

PG: Bradley
SG: Iggy
SF: Pierce
PF: KG
C : McGee

Now that's a stifling defensive lineup with 3 bodies to throw at Lebron in Iggy,Green & Pierce. And 2 to tame Wade in Bradley & Iggy. Plus we keep Sully & Green & keep our young nucleus. Im in on this because I think McGee in our system could be a wildcard capable of 13pts, 11rebs & 3blks a night given he gets 34-38 mins. And Lawson is a real spark plug off the bench with Barbosa,Green,Sully,Wilcox... Barbosa & Lawson off the bench together goodluck keeping up with that game changing speed! Sign me up for this deal!
