This blockbuster is a paradigm shift.

I am looking for more low post scoring and better defense.

Wait there is more.

Sounds like Lakers would not be willing to move Artest for Bass and Terry. Want the extra cap flexibility in 2014.

OK this one is for the non-Rondo believers who want to ship him out to the Moose Lodge in Glendale, AZ.

The Celtics could be a mess and things need to be shaken up a lot.

We are left with

Bradley and Barbosa at PG
Jared Dudley, Courtney Lee at SG
Jeff Green, MWP at SF
KG and Sullenger at PF
Gasol, Gortat, at Center

Fab Melo, Wilcox, and three others for depth.

Looking at the above lineup we might have less upside than before but then again the players might work better together under Doc's take your of your defense 1st so we grow better as a team in the post Pierce, KG, Rondo era.

Is Lebron James and Kobe Bryant both free agents? If so, I understand completely.

  • It's what I do! It's who I am!
Holy smokes, I am not trading Pierce for Artest. NO, NO, NO, NO, NO and NO!

And If I'm trading Rondo, I'd def want more than Gortat and Dudley.

Don't you ever wonder what this team would have become had those trades in 2007 had not happened and Ainge drafted Noah at number 5.... Imagine this trade with KG to Chicago for Joakim Noah.

Agreed that Metta Ron Artest should not be a major piece in any trade. He is way over paid and represents everything the Celtics do not stand for.

Hitting the panic button is fine, but not if it's for a lousy trade. Gasol's knees are also a concern. I'd rather ride it with the squad we have and let them gel. Healthy Bradley, Rondo, Garnett & Pierce and we can be okay.

I disagree, id rather blow it up then keep this same team for the whole year. This team is not going all the way. A blind man could see that.

So, you want to blow it up just for the sake of it?  you don't actually care about improving the team?
