Are we supposed to be encouraged by this game? I feel like we are getting to the point of putting down a family dog or cat. I basically think they are trying, but they just don't have it anymore. I hate believing this is the end of an era...

The lakers are smart, at least they are on their way to a lottery pick. We should do the same.

Why was Lee not if for Pierce for the last 6 minutes?

If Rondo is out best player (now or in the future) we don't win a championship.

Shoot 38% for the game against the worst defensive team in the NBA.  14 points in the 4th.  Don't know what to say.

we blow. not hard to figure out. we have crap coaching also. jump shooting team? what a joke. get a [dang] guy who can score inside all game long and see how that changes this team. we do not attack enough . terrible style by doc.

Too bad they traded that pick to Phoenix for Nash

I seriously reckon if the Cavs team can continue to improve they will be legit contenders with a core of Irving Thompson Zellar and Waiters. Good future for that team if they can hold it together and get maybe 2-3 more pieces.

Us...... not too sure....

This team has very little margin for error. It's amazing how bad they have looked when Paul Pierce isn't doing his job. Or when Bradley was out with injury.

Losing one key contributor shouldn't result in such a large drop-off but it has done all season long.

They are screwed because Danny Ainge and Doc Rivers chose to reload around Pierce KG and Rondo. The parts just do not fit. They are too small and too slow. It is a lack of talent and we are in cap hell.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

crap like this is why it hurt so bad in 2010 and last year. we may not have a shot at winning a finals or even making one again for a long time after we let those two slip away. sure OKC may have run us out the building but would have been nice to win the east and have one last shot. it's over. this team is done. last year was the last chance to make the finals with this club as is. we blew it.

yeah I agree.  Give the cavs 1-2 years of some good drafting and smart management and they will be at least a playoff team soon.

they are going in the exact opposite direction as we are.  sad to say.

They signed all of these players who were supposed to help with the offense and we get this?
38%... against the Cavs? The Cavs?
If Doc can't get to them then who else can. KG? Danny? Heck Dooling?

A team that has little margin for error is a mediocre team. At best they could be above average, but in no way are they a team that can contend for a title.
