McGee is a great project for the Nuggets and he is one of the best players they have, under limited minutes.

A very good and talented player that will likely be more than Nene one day. He's what we hope Melo can be, talent-wise.

He is the same player he was a few seasons ago.

At some point, potential becomes waste for certain players.

Read some current news on McGee. He, like many others, was stuck in the hopeless situation that is known as the Washington Wizards. He's one of the most athletic players in the league and is learning under the tutelage of others in Denver, where George Karl puts trust in him, in limited minutes.

When Doc dons his war paint to demand consistency, I don't think he'll be looking to add Javale McGee.

As someone else already posted.

Quote
"He's got to understand that lazy and crazy isn't going to make it work," Karl said. "We want solid and we want fundamental, and we want spectacular but only when it happens, not forcing the action where sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't."

And his minutes are shrinking the more time he is in Denver.
