I've also spent some time playing with the trade machine, looking for some ridiculous return. Here my best shot:
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=auvhjcs (:
I mean, you asked for ridiculous ideas, and these are the best players reportedly avaiable, so I think it would be hard to do it better than that, right?
Rondo/AB/Gay/JSmooth/Cousins
Barbosa/Lee/Sullinger/KG
+Delonte&Oden and I suddenly like our chances... lol
You win.

Hey, one can dream, can't he? (: Or maybe I'm just 'mentally tired', as Coach Rivers says? Whatever the case may be, give me few more losses and I might proceed with a similar trade in my 2K13 roster..

I've got another one:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=b9gzdeq

The Warriors become a really dangerous team RIGHT NOW and perhaps next season, too.

The Celtics get Klay Thompson and Andrew Bogut, who could be a nice big man to pair with Rondo going forward if he can ever stay healthy.

The rest is filler.

Wow, Pierce and Garnett. I was thinking it'd only be one of the stars when I clicked and that that wouldn't be enough to part with an up and coming star talent talent like Klay Thompson ... but the two together? That's gotta be a little tempting for GSW.

I guess it depends on how much confidence they have in Bogut. I think they'd need to believe that Bogut is done to break up their team and take a chance on two such elderly veteran players. If they have any confidence in Bogut at all, I think they still say "no".

Saw this in the Trade Machine forum today, never seen a trade that is 1 for 1 and makes each team gain this many wins...

Well, first of all I acknowledge any trade involving KG is pretty much an absurd notion given the NTC and everything else, but ignoring that --

The Warriors have been great this season without Bogut.  Considering that, and Bogut's questionable health moving forward, exchanging a nice SG prospect and Bogut, who's given them nothing, for two All-Star (ish) type players at the end of their careers could really be worth it.  Especially since they're headed to the playoffs for the first time in a long while this season.  Pierce and KG could help take them deep into the playoffs and really give them the greatest playoff run for the Warriors in decades.  And they might play for the Warriors next season, too.

I think it makes a lot of sense especially when you consider that David Lee is best at center and they have a great sixth man at PF in Landry who needs a good number of minutes.  They can play KG 25-28 minutes at center each night without wearing him out too badly, and they still have Ezeli for 10-12 minutes a night there if need be.

Terrible, awful, no good trade for the Warriors.

They have Jarrett Jack already who does everything Terry could hope to do and way, way more.

I agree, it's also why I think one could fleece John Hollinger in a trade right now

My series of trades, they all work on trade machine.

CLE - Green
BOS - Varejao

LAC - Pierce
BOS - Butler, Odom (expiring)

MIN - Garnett
BOS - Pekovic, Ridnour

ATL - Rondo, Lee
BOS - Teague, Williams, Korver (expiring), 2014 1st

IND - Terry
BOS - Augustin (expiring)

So the team the rest of the year with all the moves is:

PG - Teague, Augustin, Barbosa
SG - Bradley, Ridnour
SF - Butler, Korver
PF - Sullinger, Odom
C - Pekovic, Melo, Wilcox, Collins

IR - Varejao, Williams

In other words, the team sucks the rest of the year, but next summer, has room for 1 max contract (in addition to room to re-sign Teague and Pekovic) and will have Varejao and Williams coming back in addition to that probable high lottery pick.

2013-4 projected lineup
PG - Teague, Ridnour
SG - Williams, Bradley
SF - Butler, ?
PF - Varejao, Sullinger
C - Pekovic, ?, Melo

Then in the 2014 summer, the team once again will have room for a max contract when Butler and Ridnour come off the books and get a couple of more 1st round picks (their own and the Rondo trade) in what is projected as a very deep 2014 draft.

Obviously this would be a risky way to go, but it clears a ton of salary to get cap room each of the next two summers and provides a number of young players on reasonable contracts to develop.

Bigs - Bob Lanier (74), Spencer Haywood (73), Mychal Thompson (82), Herb Williams (86), Sam Lacey (75), Rich Kelley (79)
