Boston throws in a pick to detroit also.

this is a blow up idea for detroit, yes they lose prly 2 good players but get a franchise player (cousins) back, plus a decent PF in Bass and a first round pick

Kings lose Cousins but get Drummond (who is developing nicely into a beast) and Austin Daye.

Boston gets a young center that will help immensely on the boards

OK, maybe not untouchable, but unless they are getting a superstar that will turn their franchise around, they are not being traded.

Drummond has looked like a young Dwight Howard, and Monroe is arguably the best big man in the league who is still on his rookie contract.

I agree with them being on the untouchable at this point unless they are getting a top young star in return.  The Pistons are rebuilding around them.

Detroit isn't giving both players up, though, which means we don't need to be involved at all.

trade sucks for detroit.  they give up 2 top young players and a serviceable frontcourt player in Daye for 1 top young player and Bass.  why would Detroit ever agree to that?

Detroit could just send Sac Monroe or the Drummond and filler and not involve the C's. 

no way C's are going to turn Bass into that good of a young center prospect.

I don't think Detorit will give up their two promising front court young guns for another one and basically a backup 4.

I love the trade idea, don't get me wrong. But I'm pretty sure Detroit doesnt.

In that deal they are certainly untouchable. That is a terrible terrible terrible deal for the Pistons to make.

IMO Cousins and bass would have better play then drummond and monroe on the floor together. Bass does well when someone can dominate the paint (aka Cousins). When Bass is playing now, he migth as well be the center bc KG is floatin outside the paint more often then not AND bass isnt a center.....so he isnt being used correctly....I think he would be much better off if he had a real center to play along side....I love KG but  he is more of a pf thru and thru

You are just being silly.  Drummond and Monroe are the two most valuable players in that entire trade.  Thus, it is an absolutely horrible trade for Detroit.

Something like this would seemingly work for all three teams

Boston - Villanueva, Prince, Brooks
Detroit - Garcia, Bass, Evans
Sacramento - Green, Stuckey, Melo, Collins

Boston gets some pretty solid pieces with less long term commitment to make a run this year.  Prince would be a great fit at the back-up 3 and Villanueva adds some versatility at the 4.  Brooks is a more than capable backup PG.  Detroit gets a look at Evans and some solid role players to add to their young guys.  Sacramento gets some good value for Evans in Green and Stuckey and a project in Melo.

ur tade isn't bad except villaneuva and KG hate each other and wouldnt mesh well lol
