He is currently ranked as a top rookie in nba. I will be surprised if Chuck nor Shaq will draft him on their team.

I think there is some doubt, just because of his position.

Here are the locks for the rookie team I think...

Davis
Drummond
Beal
Lillard
Barnes
Kidd-Gilchrist
Waiters

Then the guys on the bubble are very big man heavy.

Shved I think is the only other guard who really deserves to be in it.  Then you have:

Sullinger
Zeller
Valanciunas
Robinson (who is heating up now, and has the political benefit of the high pick)
Henson (also has been hot lately
Singler
Ezeli

And Sully has a good case against most if not all of those guys, but it is not cut and dry, and some of them are going to be left off in favor of guards.

I think he will get drafted ahead of all of those guys (on the second list). Also isn't Val hurt?

I think he will too, I am just saying its not a lock.  There are enough guys with decent enough claims, that it could come down to a personal preference by whoever is picking the team.

#5 on nba.com's rookie ladder right now, along with the commentary that he's likely to be selected for the game.

His improvement and Bradley's return came at just the right time for Sully.

Definitely -- Sully is contributing to a winning team. He'll get the call ahead of those other guys on the bubble that Chris mentioned.

I think he should be a no-brainer.

He was a high profile college player as well, I think he'll get selected without a doubt.

I think so too. And I would think Chuck and Shaq would both notice this as well.

Yeah, I think both of those guys would love a big man like Sully with his strong rebounding and physical interior play.

But here's where my biggest concern would be about him making it.  Chuck and Shaq love to stir things up.  And my guess is they will have at least a player or two that doesn't make sense, just so they can have something to talk about.  And that is where a guy like Sully is vulnerable.

I don't know.  Chuck didn't notice any Spurs for the all star game.

Agree with both you guys. Shaq and Sir Charles both are empathic to guys with some "heft". :)
