The movies you hated most or were most disappointed in

1 The Eagle......there just couldn't be a more horrid movie. Just insulting
2 Avatar
3 Schindler's List
4 Brokeback Mountain ( I appreciate that they swung for the fences but they fell over in the attempt like Babe Ruth did at times)
5 some of those Steve Martin movies like Lonely Guy
6 The Graduate
7 2001 A Space Oddessy
8 American Grafitti
9 Sideways
10 The English Patient....Shakespeare in Love...they're like the same movie

JFK is very competitive with these films.

I think Avatar is the most watchable of these films despite the absurdness

Also I think it's worth noting Godfather 3 was nominated best picture. It lost to Dances With Wolves. Goodfellas was also nominated that year. Godfather 3 is a fine film in a vacuum. But it was like an A - or B+ film trying to follow on the heels of two A ++++++++++++ films.  It was like trading Michael Jordan for Wally Szerbiak or Dale Ellis. Those guys were good. They played in an all star game. But you can't do that

Don't think I can make a list of 10, as I try to forget horrible movies right after I watch them, but, the first two I thought of straight away was:

Street Fighter - was on TV the other night, it is so horrible, that I had to watch it again to remind myself how horrible it actually was.

Star Wars Episode 1

Pirates of the Carribean (these series bugs the hell out of me even today - when its on HBO or Fox I immediately change the channel);

Any movie starring Van Damme, Steven Seagal, jennifer Lopez;

Jason vs. Freddy, Alien vs Predator - Requiem (this movie sucked so bad), Blues Brothers 2000, Hellraiser (after the 2nd installment - both I and II were okay - but succeeding movies really were bad);

Justin Timberlake movies also are bad.
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;

The Brothers Grimm was easily the worst that I remember.

Other than that...

The Notebook
Any Saw movie after the first one
Starship Troopers 2
Gamer (neat concept, poorly executed)
Star Wars Episode 2 was disappointing

Was also personally disappointed in The Hunger Games, although I wouldn't go so far as to say I disliked it.  It just didn't deserve the hype.  It may feel like a better movie in retrospect when the sequel(s) comes out though.

I'd be shocked if anyone else has that one on their list.

I wouldn't mind people explaining to me why this is such a good film.  Maybe I was too young to watch it. On some level I just thought Hollywood lined up to vote for it because they had to. Then I was shocked to see it at like #8 on the top 100 list that came out about 5 years later. Long. Dull. Not very illuminating. The black and white didn't work. Perhaps a little overacted at times.  Is it that much better than Diary of Anne Frank? Why? Is it better than the film about the concentration camp uprising?

These movies, I hated not because they are bad (well some of them are), but because they didn't live up to the hype (or my hype). Now i hate these movies because they got me all excited and I got, well, not what I was expecting.

Matrix Revolutions (just bad compare to 1 and 2)

Spider-Man 3 (not bad, but can't live up to 2's standards)

Home Alone 3 (Lord this movie is SO bad)

Priest (I thought it'll be as good as the comic book)

American Reunion (not bad, but I expected a funnier movie)

Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace

Pluto Nash (I was really excited for this)

WWE Attitude Era Documentary (just not enough)

G.I. Joe (another not bad, but not what I expected movie)

Thunderstruck (I love KD, but man this movie is awful)
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

Sometimes I wonder what exactly people were expecting from Star Wars episode 1. I admit it's the least watchable but I don't think it approaches anything similar between the drop off from Godfather 1 and 2 to 3

I like you Birdman but I actually disagree strongly with both of these.  I think as far as chick flicks go twilight is pretty watchable.

And comon.  Top Gun....
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

I didn't think I could come up with 10 but I slowly did, ha

Matrix 2 and 3
Street Fighter (as previously mentioned)
Mortal Kombat Annihilation
White Chicks
Miami Vice (very disappointing, huge Mann fan)
The Grudge (almost got thrown out of the theater for laughing)
Coach Carter (sports movie cheese gone too far)
Super Mario Bros.

And possibly the worst for me, only movie I have ever even thought about walking out of in the theater for: Van Helsing

Not going to agree on Twilight, but even as a guy who doesn't care too much for Cruise, he has great movies.

My favorite is easily Collateral.  Best acting of his career (and Jamie Fox's too) and an amazing movie.

Green Street Hooligans 2

Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls

Green Street Hooligans 1 almost makes my list.  I know some like it, I just think it's so awful.  The acting, plot, those hilariously bad flashback sequences, the fight scenes... all terrible.

And I love Ace Ventura 2.  Sillier than the first but still awesome.   :(

This bit of science earned you a tommy point.  Collateral is a fantastic, criminally underrated movie.

Agreed!  I don't say this lightly because I love Heat, but I think it's an even better movie.
