I'd love to have Gordon on this team.

Trade I'd do: Bass, Terry and Melo for Gordon and Jeff Taylor.

That is all...

We have a much more clutch Ben Gordon in Terry. We need a rim protector off the bench, not another SG.

I love Terry's personality, but I'd exchange Gordon for Terry in a heartbeak.  Much younger, similar game, but Ben is a more dangerous scorer at this point in his career, as we saw tonight.  He shot a low % versus the C's but a lot of those shots were heavily covered.

Not worth jeopardizing our chemistry at the moment. Plus trading terry to Charlotte at this point in his career is filthy. Bad for future business if you ask me.

Any deal involving bass has to return a big IMO.

I hate Ben Gordon, there's a reason he's been banished to the NBA hell that is the Charlotte Bobcats.

Terrys had some bad games but [dang] putting him on the Bobcats at this point in his career is just mean

Don't trash Gordon too much, this did happen after all. Guy is a dynamite scorer.

Gordon: 14 Points in 22 minutes on 46 % shooting this season, 41 % from 3.  Still 29 years old.

Terry: 10 Points in  29. 6 minutes on 41 % shooting this season, 36 % from 3. Still 35 years old.

Sorry, but just because Ben Gordon has played for Detroit and Charlotte since 10' doesn't mean he is the shell of his former self, just means you haven't seen him play.

I agree I wouldn't trade Terry for Gordon though, Celtics don't need an upgrade in bench scoring. You only make a move if it's for a 5 man that is more of a factor than Jason Collins.

You go with the guy with the Leprechaun tattoo. We don't need Gordon. Especially with that salary.

Rondo, Barbosa, Bradley, Lee, Terry. That's plenty of guards for one team.

Funny responses -- terry's a better player (silly), terry's 'more clutch' (silly), gordon's been 'banished' to charlotte (silly), gordon's a shell of his former self (silly), messing with team chemistry in January (silly), Gordon has a bad contract (silly), don't trade a guy because of a tat (silliest).

What killed this team in last year's playoffs? Bench scoring. Gordon would provide fearless bench scoring -- he stretches a defense like no one on the roster. He'd be a significant upgrade from Terry. I'd love to have him on this team.

I say no to Gordon. He can score but he is somewhat inconsistent. He is shooting pretty well this year but he is undersized, cant run the point, and doesnt play much D. I dont see him bringing anything to the table that Terry doesnt except youth(and hes 29).
