Hmm... What to do with a 7 foot Kevin Garnett. The possibilities...
So you want to see what would happen if he got shorter?
KG being 7 feet tall is strangely unknown, even among C's fans. I know he hides it but still. And also a star so I guess if that's not what this threads about fine, but if Dwight Howard was 2" taller and actually 7' tall that'd be a real nightmare (another strangely unknown NBA height). As far as lesser players, Ty Lawson stands out to me. Our own Jared Sullinger would be dominant at 6'11". I still have really high hopes for him and he plays well in the post on offense and defense for his height, but imagine...

Thought of another name.
Thad Young at 6'10"?
That's a keeper.
Like the list mgent gave outside of Randolph and Ibaka.
Randolph I think is already a superstar, Ibaka even at 7'0" I think will still be the same.
If Iguodala isn't a "superstar," then I wouldn't say Randolph is. And Ibaka is one of the best shot blockers the league has seen in a while at 23, I wouldn't underestimate what he could do with 2 more inches. He also has an excellent leaping ability, at 7 foot he could be a very dangerous dunker and rebounder. Milsap, Lawson, and Collison were all guys I thought of, the latter two especially I don't think have "it" yet. They rely almost purely on speed and shooting to score their points, and don't do a lot other than that. Plus with two inches they'd still be undersized anyway. I think people are putting a little too much stock into height. If you're talking 7'6" that's one thing, but most of the time it's the player not the body. Ben Wallace wasn't outblocking guys twice his size out of luck. Same with Rodman and rebounding.

Blake Griffin is a SUPER star at 6'10", but if that dude was 7 feet still doing all that stuff he'd rival Shaq.

Shaq? Give Blake the height and they are still totally different players. Blake Griffin hardly has a single post move (still a very good player, don't get me wrong). With a few more inches...I would be Tall Dark and handsome, now i'm just Dark and Handsome.

At best he's Baron Davis. Who had some really good years no doubt but being taller wouldn't improve his shot selection or make him a smarter player. Dude should have stuck to football and played Corner IMO.

Growing a couple of inches might actually be a negative for a lot of players. Do you think Rodman would have had the work ethic he had if he was a couple of inches taller?

If Bradley was 7-1 he'd be the best Center in the league.
If Shaq was 6-3 he'd be a great pointguard and so much faster.
Am I doing this right?...

Think of a 7'ft. Magic Johnson playing PG or a 7'ft. Bird able to play all 3 frontline positions! We wouldn't be saying Micheal is the best all-time we'll be talking Magic or Bird!
