a 6'9" Paul Pierce...?

How many MVP's would he win? But he's already a superstar though at 6'7", i don't think he needs the extra two to be one.

Westbrook and Rose are already superstars, no need for the 2 inches.

Doesn't mean the 2 inches won't help :o

Pierce with 2 extra inches is scary.

Rose and Westbrook at 6'5? James Hardens basically?

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Sully, Leon Powe, and Avery would all have been tougher with say 3" inches.

Yeah, give me some 6'11" Leon Powe.

I bet he won't be traded. That athleticism combined with old school physical play. Still won't be superstar though IMO. Bradley and Sully, on board

With that in mind, how do you think a 7'0" Perk would do? Superstar?

Isn't rondo only 6'1" ? If that is his height I'll take he and rose with a few more inches.

It would help I agree.

All im saying is, they already reached superstardom without the 2 inches. We're looking for players who are not there or closing in there, but will reach it if they are 2 inches taller.

I also have another one. Iggy.

He's a star and a household name, but I think everyone will agree he's no superstar.

But at 6'8", with that athleticism and intangibles. The defense, which now he won't be giving up length when he's locking down 3's. I think he's sure fire All Defensive team every year at 6'8". LeBron would have a hard time against Iggy if Iggy can look at him face to face IMO.

Point taken.

Just to stir the pot more...

Would Rondo/AI play with as much flare as they do with the extra 2 inches? They seem to go to a whole other level because they're the shortest guy on the floor with a chip on their shoulder.

Hard to explain but if you look on the other end of the spectrum, you have Shaq (and Dwight Howard to some extent i guess). He's everything you'd want in terms of height and size for basketball. If they'd just work that much harder...perhaps he'd be even better.

Another name needed to be mentioned.

Carl Landry.

He's a proto type 4 playing at around 6'9" (or 8" depends on which site you go).

He'll be a 20-25/10-13 guy if he's 6'11". He's not really a high jumper so the added length could help him. He's already a tenacious rebounder at his height, make him more taller and he'll probably grab a few more.

He'll be a game changer at 6'11". A Max Contract guy, borderline superstar. He needs to improve on defense though.  ;D

I'm not sure if anything will change if AI is 6'2", maybe the shooting percentage would go up a bit because he's on par with defenders?

Rondo at 6'3" would be really deadly. He can maneuver his way in the paint already at 6'1". I'll assume at 6'3" he'll have better court vision. And with longer limbs of course he'll be a much better defender, maybe he won't gamble as much because he's not giving up a ton of size.

I agree with the Shaq thing. Going back to the 2 inches topic, I'd give you a hard worker who I think is BORDERLINE superstar if he's 2 inches taller.

I'm going back with Kenneth Faried. He's a work horse, hustle and everything. I bet he'll be a much better scorer in the paint if he's 6'10", much better defender and an elite shot blocker like Ibaka. Add to the fact that he's pure energy and averaging 10 rebounds a game at 6'8", you wont be able to out rebound this dude at 6'10".

I don't think he'll be a superstar at 6'8" though, as hardworking as he is. I think he'll still be at a disadvantage if he goes post defense against 6'10"-11" guys.

I think Nate Robinson with 2 more inches is a guy who either is:

A solid starter (but not on a contender), similar to one time All Star Dana Barros.

Or maybe even a Vinnie Johnson microwave type super sub.

Then I think of Eddie House, wouldn't make much of a difference, but he would be able to get more than the 1 year contracts he typically got probably.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Nate + 2 more inches would be 5'11" right? Kyle Lowry, Ty Lawson range? I disagree that he'll be a superstar, i don't think he has it, but I agree that he'll be a solid starter for every team. I think he'll be taken more seriously if he's bordering 6'0"

I think Eddie House would still be the same at 6'3".

Carl Landry is the best name I have seen in this thread. He'd be a terrific player with a little more size. One of the best power forwards in the league.

Will Bynum would be an interesting one.

I think he'd be a 20ppg threat with 8-10apg. Tough defense too.

Zach Randolph / Al Jefferson.  Could be much more effective defensively and even harder to guard.  Both could play at center and score 25+ a game while gobbling boards.

What about Reggie Evans with two more inches? Still no offense but he could be averaging something like 16 boards and 3 blocks a game with 2 more inches.

If OJ Mayo was 6 foot 6 instead of 6 foot 4 I think he would be pretty dominate as well. Already a great scorer. Those 2 extra inches would make him that more dangerous going to the basket.

Also surprised that no ones mentioned Big Baby Davis... Superstar, I dont know because the bad shot selection would still be there...But with two more inches and still the same mobility in the post, then take away the amount of shots he gets blocked.

And as a throw back. Two more inches of Ben Wallace woulda been fillllthy.

Bradley and Sully would be the most interesting of our current squad
