  • Bleed Green, Die Green
Chris Andersen
Kenyon Martin
Ben Wallace
Kyrylo Fesenko
Solomon Alabi
Brian Cook
Juwan Howard
Greg Oden

Those are just the few free agents that I could think of that the C's could pick up.

I know the C's need another big, but I believe that they can get one through free agency, and not through a possible chemistry-breaking trade.

Thoughts?
Ideas?

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Part of me wants Nenad Krstic back.

He could be serviceable, maybe more than serviceable to be honest.

I hear ya, but I think he's splaying for Russia at the moment. Don't know how long the contract is.

Anyone know what relevant bigs out there are on expiring deals and could likely be bought out. I mean realistically bought out also bc there is no way Utah buys out big al or milsap.

Tony Battie probably wouldn't be the worst option if you added his name to that list.

Good old Tony Battie, that's a possibility too!

My guess is that players on the level of DeSagana Diop and Hakim Warrick might be available if their expiring contracts can't be used in a deal.

Im thinking Sam Dalembert as my ideal realistic best case scenario as he is not playing at all with milwaukee...

Otherwise, i will be more interested to pick up a young atheletic center that can board, can dunk alley oops and can block shoots...
Jerome Jordan could be a good idea here!

I don't think any playoff team is buying out a potentially useful player.  So, they either have to drop out of contention or they have to value him so poorly that they would not play him even if another big suffered an injury.

Not a huge fan of diop... If Milwaukee falls out of the playoff race then I could see dalembert being waived but I bet he goes to Miami. Still doubt it happens. Philly is four back of the eighth seed. If Bynum doesn't come back soon then the eight playoffs teams might soon be set with only seeding still to be decided.

No idea what he has left in the tank, but I am wondering what Ben Wallace is up to. I thought I'd heard before this season started that he wanted to latch on to a contender.

JJ Hickson is having a good season, I doubt that he would get bought out.
This is not a trade idea thread, just a free agent/amnestied/bought out/and maybe international players ideas.

This is from rotoworld (over a month ago):

Sheed is playing a nice role, helping out with those guys, cheering on his teammates," so it sounds like Wallace may look to latch on with a team that may be interested in his services.

If he does sign with someone, I don't think he will be of much help. He might end up being this year's Juwan Howard. Get another ring for waving the towel and occasionally leave the bench but not the sidelines when Wade or LeBron get tangled up with opponents.

I prefer waiting.

Waiting to see if a better big man can be gotten in a trade.

These players are not going anywhere right now.  No need to rush.
