Executives and agents around the league are convinced the Cavaliers won’t do anything to jeopardize their ability to sign a free agent to a max contract during the summer of 2014, when LeBron James can again become a free agent. As fans in Northeast Ohio continue to howl and remain divided about the possibility of his return, more and more people around the league believe there is a strong possibility James will indeed return to Cleveland after next season.

I don't see it, after living in Miami and most likely winning a few rings it would make no sense. Only way I can see him going back to Cle is if Wade starts to slow down and Miami no longer has a big 3.

Irving + Lebron would be pretty great though.

I don't see that at all. I think he would be more hated for it. First he put them through the decision, goes to Miami to win a title or two basically saying the cavs aren't good enough. Then goes back to the cavs? Nah

2014 is coming around too quickly. If it were 2016 or 2017, maybe ... but I think Wade and Bosh last long enough to keep LeBron in Miami past this free agency opportunity. The next free agency moment could be another matter altogether though.

Also, I think LeBron gives first stab to Miami and Pat Riley to show they can build a post-Wade + post-Bosh team there. Cleveland would be the fall-back if it didn't come together.

It would help his popularity and change how he's viewed by the league if he went back and won, but I can't imagine him going back after everything that happened.

Lebron won't leave the Heat until Wade breaks down completely, 2015 or 2016 sounds more likely.

I think he will go back to Cleveland. He dont want to be hated all his life there. Plus i just dont think Wade will play too long anyways.

How would Irving and Lebron be great? Maybe if Irving redefines his game to being a spot up shooter and capable defender, otherwise it would be a disaster

Is wade a spot up shooter? Irving is just as good of a play maker as Wade and a better shooter.

exactly. Add to that Waiters and Andy Varejao and you have a team with Lebron that would be as strong as the Heat are now possibly.

I think he goes back to Cleveland. It would do wonders for his legacy and for the league.

He wont ask for a huge money making contract cause he has enough now to last him for life..with that, Cleveland can go out a sign a couple of great players to help him. But who wants to play in Cleveland?
