Barbosa could help a team like the Lakers with scoring.  What could he bring if anything?

id hate to lose him unless for a legit big.  He'd help if one of our gurds goes down and he's a spark.

Not much considering he's on a veterans minimum contract.

I'm perfectly content with the Blur being the 5th guard.

He made a couple huge plays in one of the games on our win streak, attacked and dished. I love me some Barbosa because he isn't afraid to put his head down and go at the rim. He could win a game for us in the playoffs if Rondo or somebody is in foul trouble like Nate he can get hot fast.

Not denying his talent but the only guys the Cs can get back for Leo alone are guys on vets min contracts.

I don't want Barbosa gone. I'm one of the few C's fans who thinks this team is fine the way it is.

If there are any moves the Celtics need to make, it's signing another big, like Birdman.

Oh for sure, I agree was just commenting on how I like Barbosa even just as an emergency guard

a second round pick?
Yeah, that is all Toronto was able to get for Barbosa last year when they traded Barbosa to Indiana. And in the off-season Barbosa struggled just to find a team willing to offer him a veteran's minimum contract as a free agent.

No reason to think his trade value has increased since then.

Barbosa might be one of the last players on the roster that I would trade. He's amazing insurance at a minimum price tag, and has played well nearly every time he is given a chance. He can't bring anything back at his salary and is a perfect guy to have on the roster in case one of the guards gets hurt (or suspended, for that matter). He can score and get to the rack. Why would we trade him?

I'm not sure why he wants to be on the roster, but the Celtics should be excited to have him for sure. Remember Marquis last year playing pivotal minutes out of nowhere? There's no 12th man in the league better than Barbosa.

No reason to deal Barbosa other than as filler if needed.

Maybe Joel Przybilla.

I was walking along the road with two friends
the sun was setting
suddenly the sky turned blood red
I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence
there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city
my friends walked on and I stood there trembling with anxiety
and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.

Conditional second round pick. And I think that's positive thinking. More likely nothing. There's also no need to move him, he's more valuable on our bench.
