Jared, I'm sorry i've been doubting you. You got heart kid, You need to lose weight, but I think you have the potential to be a solid solid starter in the next 2 years. Danny, trade Bass + Melo for Gortat and be done. I'm officially on the "keep sully" bandwagon.

My bad round guy.

The kid is now *averaging* a double-double for his last five games.

Watching Sully in college I never thought his game would work in the NBA but I thought it brilliant to take a shot at him where Danny was drafting.

I was wrong, his game does transfer to the NBA. Danny was right and the brilliant gamble paid off. probably big time. My brother in law who hated Sully is eating crow and telling me constantly I was right about taking the chance with him.

Boy I love that.

Taking Sully at 21 was so worth the risk. Lets hope those red flags don't pop up.

I think Melo have more upside than Gortat. I wouldn't trade him either.

That might be a stretch imo. I can't imagine Melo ever avg 15 and 10. I'm hoping he turns into a Perkins type(8 ppg 8 rpg tough defense/scowl). I'd be pretty happy with that.

I had my doubts when he was picked but had no doubts after seeing him in summer league.  kid showed smarts and knew how to rebound.  love his development so far this year.
