Ugh! What a disgrace! Booo, DeMarcus, boo!

Hopefully they trade you for such a small return, like Fab Melo, that you feel ashamed. That'll teach him a lesson.

Much of this is flopping on VC's side. I wouldn't give this a Flagrant Two. At least, this is not something like Artest elbowing Harden or anything close.

Yeh, bit of a lame foul to be honest. F1, okay. F2? Nahr.

Sounds like rondo in an alternate universe where he was drafted to a bad team with bad management.

Didn't even look like a flagrant, let alone a F2....don't they review these things?

They initially called it a flagrant 1 and then upgraded it.

It was his sixth foul apparently though.

Which means he is perfect fit for us, the league already hates him!

Dwight did a lot of elbowing and swiping while in an Orlando uniform. He got away with most of them. Worse, unlike Cousins (as seen in the video), he wouldn't even care to help out the player he just hit.

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
Cousins and Carter had gotten into it towards the end of regulation, so I have a hard time believing this was totally unintentional.

No way that deserves a flagrant 2, intentional or not. If thats a flagrant 2 then Dudley's football push retaliation on Rondo should have been the same.

Just because Cousins has a rep they nab him with an F2 to teach him a lesson? Come on NBA, lets start treated everybody fairly.

I was watching the game and didn't see what you're referring to.

Initially, the foul was ruled a Flagrant 1, but was upgraded to a Flagrant 2 after review.

What's being lost is that Cousins was absolutely dominant in this game. The Mavs had no answer for him in the post. Two things really stood out. 1 - He wants to ball in the post. He's not a reluctant Sheed type.  2 - The guy is a good and willing passer. He constantly passed to open teammates out of the post.

Sure doesn't take much for a flagrant 2 anymore.

That's sooooo weak NBA and Stern. Clean it up! That was a borderline flagrant 1. This league is losing all credibility on these type of issues in my opinion. They need an overhaul of all the officials. For them to change this call to a flagrant 2 is BEYOND CONCERNING to me.

I don't like Cousins, but that was no flagrant 2. Frankly it wasn't even a flagrant 1, aside from Crybaby Carter getting touched in the head and flopping. Hell, DMC even grabbed him to keep the guy from falling down.
