DeMarcus Cousins was ejected in overtime with a flagrant-2 foul for shoving Vince Carter while fighting for a loose ball. It was originally ruled a flagrant-1, but the refs reviewed it and and change their original ruling. Cousins shouldn't be suspended for this infraction and we expect him to be ready to face the Heat on Saturday. He played well in 38 minutes with 27 points, nine boards, four assists, one steal and one block.

It was his 6th foul anyway. He was still gonna be out of the game, flagrant or not. He had some moves. I don't want him because of the price we'd have to pay and the players we'd have to lose. If he signs for the vet min, why not. But that's never going to happen.

It looked like a clearly intentional forearm to Carter's face. He was frustrated he had lost the ball and looked at Carter's head before extending his arm into Carter's face. If this had been the first incident of his career, it might be suspension-worthy; with his history, I assume it's a definite. I really dislike this guy.

Kings center DeMarcus Cousins was assessed a flagrant foul 2 and ejected from a 117-112 overtime loss to the Mavericks on Thursday.
With 41 seconds remaining in overtime, Cousins and two Mavericks battled for a loose ball in the paint, and Cousins wound up swinging his right arm upwards, contacting Vince Carter in the face with his forearm. Carter fell to the court and Cousins appeared to try to break the momentum by catching him, to no avail. Cousins was initially assessed a flagrant foul 1 on the play but a video review upgraded the call to a flagrant foul 2.
The flagrant foul 2 designation applies to fouls that are deemed both “unnecessary and excessive.” All flagrant fouls are reviewed by the NBA league office and are subject to possible discipline including a fine and/or suspension.
Cousins has been suspended a total of three times by the NBA and the Kings this season. He was suspended for two games by the NBA for a post-game confrontation with Spurs television broadcaster Sean Elliott one game in November. He was suspended for one game by the NBA for a low blow on Mavericks guard O.J. Mayo back in December. He was suspended indefinitely by the Kings for an in-game argument with coach Keith Smart but the suspension was officially lifted after one game, although Smart didn’t allow him to immediately rejoin the team.
Cousins finished with 29 points, nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block on nine-for-14 shooting in 39 minutes.

Yeah, 29-9-4. That's an all-star stat line.
Get him out of Sac, and somewhere stable. He would at least stand a chance. He has no chance with his current team.

When I hear a person saying "I swear to God...", I immediately think, child please! Dude is lying through his teeth, good thing he is rich and can afford a great dental surgeon because all that can't be good for the health of his teeth!

DeMarcus Cousins was ejected last night, for a hit on Vince Carter, it was considered a flagrant 2. DeMarcus Cousins on flagrant foul: "I swear to God I didn't try to do that. I'm just tired of being in these situations.
