Rondo is my 2nd favorite played in the NBA next to KG.

I do this trade. But I don't want two of their sub-par PGs. I'd take one and Thompson. To make salaries match we'd have to move Lee.

Let's say SAC tanks, makes the trade I listed above and gets Mohammed in the draft.

The Celtics decline Pierce's option, let KG retire and start the rebuild with a bang. Doc has his work cut out for him but a ton of talent to mold.

I think it's an interesting idea. If I were SAC I would trade DMC and Evans in separate deals and try to stockpile picks while shedding salary. Try to get in the running for a top 5 lottery pick to pairing Robinson with either Noel or Mohammed. Certainly a lot of options for the new Seattle team
