Out Rondo and Lee and Melo. In Evans, I. Thomas, J Thompson, and Cousins.

If they want Green that's fine too. For the Sonics Rondo is the new Gary Payton in town and they want to builr around him a run and gun team.

It would give us an incredibly talented and deep team with no true point guard.

 Cousins
 Garnett
 Pierce
 Bradley
 Evans

 Thompson
 Sully, Bass
 Green
 Terry
 Thomas

You have to admit that's a ton of talent. All of a sudden we would have five quality bigs. Three of them 6'11".

Could you pass this up if the Sonics just had to have Rondo.

I just don't get the continued Rondo trade stuff ... there is no more important quality in a PG than passing, IMO, and we've got one of the best passers to ever play the game, why the heck would you want to get rid of him for a team with no one who can distribute the ball well?

It doesn't matter how talented your team is if they can't pass the ball effectively, or don't have someone who can get the ball to them when and where they need it.

There is only one other PG in the league right now that I would consider over Rondo, (maybe two), and the chemistry that he's developing with Bradley is only in it's infancy, and already pretty considerable.

I look at these threads out of curiosity, (when I probably shouldn't), and I've yet to see any that make much sense.

Sorry.

What do you think KG would do/think if that trade went down?

You're also most likely detonating this season due to having to change doc's style on offense.

Not to mention trading our best young asset for a bucket of risk in cousins.

Is everyone looking at the past two weeks of play from Rondo, seeing that he hasnt gotten 15 assists in every one of those game like he did in the previous 15, and thinking that somehow he isnt the same player he has been his whole career?

I wonder if there were any Clipper fans saying they should trade Chris Paul after he only scored 6 points against us.

I'm done answering to these ridiculous "trade Rondo" threads.

Oh wait... I just did.

Well your proposal makes no sense whatsoever.
Rondo is our best player, our motor, and needs to stay put.

Hey, I have an idea.  We just won four games in a row once our entire roster got healthy, so let's blow up the entire team, trade our All Star point guard, and get a certified lunatic in return!!

Love it. While also gutting Sacramento of all their best players so Rondo gets to play with nobody and be completely p---ed off at how the organization treated him.

We are finally playing well with because the whole team is healthy...And people STILL want to make and request bogus trades. You really can never win with the New England sports fans can you.

What's the obsession with trading one of the leagues premier young players and playoff performers for perennial losers who have never played a playoff game? Just go root for Seattle

Dude relax, just because you don't like the trade idea doesn't mean you gotta throw a hissy fit. I wouldn't trade rondo and lee. One or the other maybe.

As much as I would want to say no, the Celtics would have to say yes.

That is way to much talent coming back.  No way can I see the Kings pulling this trade.

Exactly. People think the C's say "no", but it's probably the Kings who refuse.

You guys have too much of a crush on Rondo.  He's a punk.  Who gets technical fouls from the bench?  I'd take a 6'11" punk over a 6'4" punk any day or the week.
