I guess people here don't know what upper body strength looks like?  Especially in blurry pictures?  Is Vin Diesel out of shape?

He looks the same as always to me.

It's not like we're talking about Felton here, he's a long way from that.

Just because he isnt ripped doesnt mean he's out of shape though.

I guess?

A player like John Wall shouldn't look like that.

We aren't talking about a post up player or forward here.  He's a guard relying almost purely on athleticism.  His body should not look like that.

But what if he's still the explosive, athletic John Wall even with the "baby fats"? I dont know to be quite honest. But I've seen some guys who are not in the "athletic" shape  in the gym that can still explode and jump up there.

Sure it doesn't cripple you of athleticism but it isn't good for that type of player.

I mean Pierce is still pretty athletic with a bigger build.

But with Wall we are talking a guy who should be like Rose, Wade, or Rondo in build.

While it's a bad picture, so I wouldn't take too much from it, I can understand the concern.  We expect our top athletes to be ripped. A guy like Wall, I would expect to look more like Rondo, Irving, and Rose.  Obviously not necessary to succeed, but not what I'd expect from him either, and could be cause for concern (if you're a fan).  Or it could just be a bad picture.

Genetics has a ton to do with it bdm.  Some guys can be in the gym every day and never achieve that high level of definition.  Others look like they could play in the NBA without ever lifting a weight.
