I wish there were other ways to decisively improve our team without getting rid of one of our core guys, however it likely isn't going to happen. I think this makes our team better overall right now. I don't value the PG position as a necessity to win a championship as much as a big, so I think this actually works. Works in the trade machine, and I think Phoenix might bite.
Boston gets : Gortat, Shannon Brown, and Markieff Morris. One (two if possible) future 1st round picks
Phoenix gets : Rondo, Sullinger
Boston improves dramatically in the frontcourt by adding a legit center in Gortat and another decent big off the bench in Morris. Shannon Brown either wins the starting spot or comes off the bench at the PG spot. The first round picks allow us a chance to rebuild over the next year or two.
Phoenix gets a player that will help fill the seats and give them an upcoming solid PF in Sullinger. Not bad value what they give up.
