If you believe this

http://www.yardbarker.com/nba/articles/kevin_garnett_to_carmelo_anthony_your_wife_tastes_like_honey_nut_cheerios/12606652

If this is true, it's just a story of boys will be boys. KG shouldn't have brought up his wife, but at the same time, I don't think this should've been taken that seriously.

Unconfirmed nonsense.

We will never know what was said on the court (and I hope it stays that way) unless Carmelo "no snitchin" Anthony opens his mouth to sort of justify his antics last night.

I refute this for the simple fact that I believe KG is far too clever to come up with an insult a 4th grader would.

If KG barked that at me, I would have busted a gut laughing.

If KG actually said that, it's one of the funniest things he's probably ever said on a basketball court.

How can you take offense to an insult like that?  It's hilariously childish.

It's amazing that after 18 years in the league there are still players that don't know the best way to minimize KG's antics is to ignore him.

I love that after 18 years in the league, KG has not stopped with the antics.

And, I love that that insult had such an effect on the game last night.

Brilliant move by KG.

Slightly more serious question:  is there something that can be said on the court that WOULD be crossing a line?  What if it was about an underage daughter rather than a wife?  Or about some hypothetical recent tragic death of an immediate family member?
