That Toronto offer is just the worst.

Though with the fact that they are even trying to trade Gay, we have to consider almost anything could be accepted even if it doesn't make basketball sense, because this is a team that apparently cares more about the money than the shot at a title.

Yeah terrible offer from Toronto, Calderons expiring has Memphis's eyes wide open. I just dont get it. They are a legit West team, why break it up by trading off their best player for money reasons.

Anyway we can get involved in a grizz/suns trade.

Suns trade Gortat, Dudley, Johnson?
Recieve: Gay, Bass, Melo

Grizz Trade Gay
Recieve Green, Johnson (Young wing with an expiring), Collins (Expiring)

Celts Trade: Green, Melo, Bass, Collins
Get: Gortat Dudley

This is me being greedy. Anf for that the Suns are a tough trading partner. Would the Grizz want Green to replace Gay. Four year deal but his per year cost are pretty much cut in half. With a few draft picks would that be a reasonable deal? Our lineup results in (a line up I like a lot).

I can imagine a scenario where the Celtics send out either Lee or Terry plus the 2013 first-round pick that they don't want and bring back a big not named Gortat (Darrell Arthur?).

They'd ask for Lee instead of Terry probably but otherwise that is a fine trade. We trade Melo and Lee for Gortat. Sold!
