Haha, same guy that took over for Skiles when Chicago fired him. History repeating itself. Boylan didn't work out well for Chicago. I wonder why Milwaukee expect it to be any different this time around. |

Skiles has always had a rep as a guy whose players eventually tune him out, if I recall correctly. Although with that patchwork, mismatched roster, I'm not sure what they wanted him to do anyway.

Skiles has always had a rep as a guy whose players eventually tune him out, if I recall correctly. Although with that patchwork, mismatched roster, I'm not sure what they wanted him to do anyway.
The coaches always go before the personnel. And this was definitely a situation where I don't see how Skiles could have won. |

There are very few head coaches in the league I'd rather have to teach a still fairly raw big man like Larry Sanders + turn such a make-shift cast of players into a quality defensive team. Skiles is as good a defensive head coach as there is in the league today. One of the best. Arguably the best of the best.

There are very few head coaches in the league I'd rather have to teach a still fairly raw big man like Larry Sanders + turn such a make-shift cast of players into a quality defensive team. Skiles is as good a defensive head coach as there is in the league today. One of the best. Arguably the best of the best.
Time for Doc to reach out to hire him as an assistant. |

Agree, he is a good coach, not sure they can find anybody better myself  WOuldn't mind him teaching Defense as a coach on the Celtics. |

NJ, Chi, now Milwaukee? If Sacramento or New Orleans have any sense, they hire him immediately. Sure in 4 years or less they'll fire him, but whatevs. Maybe he asked for it to coach New Jersey again. Brooklyn, I mean Brooklyn. |
