Lakers just announced Dwight Howard (torn labrum) and Pau Gasol (concussion) are out indefinitely. Season getting no simpler in Lakerland -via ESPNSteinLine Marc Stein Oh you Lakers you. You were gonna lose against HOU, OKC, and SAS with them anyways, didn't need any more help losing.  |

Wow - who will they start in the meantime? Jordan Hill and...I guess Jamison if you're going small, who will be eaten alive by just about any starting 4 in the league?
My pipe dream that the Lakers would miss the playoffs altogether is starting to seem more plausible.

Currently 15-18.
Coming soon: @Houston, @ San Antonio, OKC. Then they play Cleveland (beat LA already), Milwaukee, and Miami.
At best without their twin towers this team is looking at 1-5 and and potentially 16-23 with basically half their season done.

Did Howard year his labrum last night? Watching the game I didn't notice anything.
Looks like Nash and Kobe are going to have to take over. Not sure how that's going to pan out.
