It is very interesting that we have played so well these last too games, and against playoff teams. I think the trade talk is fair though but consider the context of the trades. There are win now trades, there are blow it up trades, and there are trades that are a little of both (and not really either).
So the question isn't so much do we make a trade now that we are on a winning streak, heck, even LAC or OKC may make a trade to shore up a weakness, the question is what kind of trade. How much of our future (Bradley, Sullinger, Melo, Rondo) are we willing to give up to get a win now big guy. Or, at what point are we willing to trade an older contributor (interesting that Rondo is in this group also) for a younger player with future upside.
I think Danny will stay kind of in the middle of this (this was last week when we were losing and this week when we are winning), he is not going to sell the farm (or any of our young farm animals) to win now but he is also not going to move any of the veteran core either, unless things go really bad; much "badder" than a holiday week losing streak. If this is the case, then I think he has it about right.
