I'm impressed by the defensive effort in the 2nd half and in the Indy game. Maybe Bradley is the good luck charm with his infectious style of defense.  Rondo especially seems to b playing better defense sinc AB returned.

I'm really happy that Doc Rivers is our coach.

And Doc pulls Green from the game after the blown alley-oop.  Gotta do wonders for his confidence.

is jeff green ten?

No, but even professional athletes need a playing rhythm and confidence to perform.

he;s had 3 months, the pre season and he stuck up 20 minutes of the first half.  how much more time does he need?

He's been one entire season out AND heart surgery. We might disagree on this, but I believe he'll need some more time, maybe a full year to get back to 100% confidence and game shape.

We need him to be a better team.

Go Celtics!

physically...questionable.  Wilcox came back.  COnfidence?  That's his own issue...either get your head in the game or dont play.

his role is to be effective in the time he's in there.  He's been nothing more than a pedestrian.  1 decent shot, 1 decent defensive move and that's it for him the game.

Well, he's progressing on D and he's rarely getting any chance to score. I'd love Doc to play him more along with KG and Sully, as they seem to play well together on both ends.

Good game by the team, that's what counts at the end.

Good night.

Good win. They made it hard on themselves but they found a way.

the second half team is the team I expected to see this season.

Bass finally hit some of his usual shots tonight. good to see
Who knew JET could play D that well.
A nice solid effort by Sully tonight.
No Collins in the second half that I can recall.  probably not a coincidence with their improved play.
Green -- missing in action tonight.  bonehead move on that dunk turned goaltend
PP still capable of putting together an amazingly hot quarter.

wish we played all 3rd quarters like that.

Celtics don't have offensive firepower to overcome a this big deficit. Chalk this one up as a loss.

say what? lol

I was a kidding off course  ;) I forget to take into account Pierce unleashing beastmode in the 3rd and Hawks collapse scoring just 29 points in second half.

Even though he's undersized, I love Lou Williams at the 2.  The guy is a flat-out scorer, and I think it creates mis-matches for opposition.  Do we want Bradley pressuring Teague up the floor, or do we want him on Atlanta's best shot creator?  Tough decision.

I like Bradley on Teague. Make them take longer to get into their offense. Fewer seconds on the shot clock really helps our D.

Worked tonight......key to their D.....ball pressure.

You left out the Bradley/Rondo pressure to start the 3rd quarter that totally got the Hawks out of their offense.

Thank you Celtics for showing some heart finally!!!
They could have easily let that double digit deficit get them down but they stuck to it and turned it around for a win. I don't know if it was Avery or what but hopefully this is a start for something good.
Also Paul is just amazing.

Me too. Other than the obvious adjustments he made at the half (and maybe some heated talk in the locker room... :P), he left PP out there with 4 fouls early in the 3rd and, boy, was that a game changing choice!!
