CelticsBlog ForumsCeltics BasketballCeltics TalkBlame Pie 2012-2013 Poll
Question: Slice em up
Doc - incompetent front running coach
Pierce - can't shoot for a full 48; can't guard anyone with a pulse
Rondo - never gonna be THE MAN; emotional moody immature brat
KG - Can't make an open shot; won't play in the post; grab a rebound once in a while please; 5 minute stints are disrupting the teams rhythm
Collins - 98 is a stupid number
Bass - yuck, what happened to being a reliable  shooter
Sully - leadfooted foul machine
Bradley - Larry would have played to with two bum shoulders;  where were you when we needed you?
Green - worst trade ever; show some balls out there more than once a week; I don't care if you just had heart surgery, we're paying you 9 million a year so get out there and earn it for something more than sleepwalking
Terry - way to make us not miss Ray...NOT!!
Lee - you're not Ray either, or E'Twaun for that matter...pick it up for the love of JJJ
Melo - duck before entering the door Fab
Danny - fire him now; only good thing he ever did was get gifted KG from a Celtic crony

I think we don't have the token white guy in the team. Thats what we are missing. Not to sound racist or anything, but if you may notice there is always 1 guy (Sasha, Scal) on the team.

Doc, Ainge - go get us one.

I was just looking at some of the advanced stats for the team (http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/BOS/2013.html) to date, not in any particular order:

1) KG is having his worst season in Boston thus far, and his worst season since he was 19 years old

2) Jason Terry is BY FAR having the worst season of his career, maybe save for his rookie year

3) Bass is having his worst season season since he was with New Orleans

4) Courtney Lee is having the worst season of his career

4) Jeff Green is having his worst season since he was a rookie

I think that explains our problem.

glad you put the time to look this info up to validate my opinion  ;)

voted for Doc and the 4 horsemen of the C's apocolypse: Green, JET, Lee and Bass.  every one of them have been incredibly underwhelming this year and it's really hurting us.

KG and PP are old players.  they're production is down so that should not be a surprise.
Collins is just what everyone thought he was.
Sully is a rookie.  the fact he's getting time and being somewhat productive is a positive.
Bradley just got back.
Rondo has been Rondo.  his D has sucked but he's not completely healthy at the moment.
Wilcox can't seem to stay healthy.  shocker.

love the poll by the way.  should have Wilcox just to be thorough.

My vote went:

1. Bass--overpaid do nothing. Can't rebound and thinks he is a pure jump shooter

2. Jeff Green--soft as a "kitten". Waste of cash...change your pad Jeff

3. Terry--Old and nowhere near a ray allen replacement. Just a huge disappointment

4. Lee--does nothing. i mean ZERO

5. Doc--his job is to bring this together and he looks clueless

Honorable mention to Danny for not addressing getting a LEGIT big man that can rebound...

KG and PP are just old...and it is showing big time...sully is a rook...bradley a savior...rondo a malcontent that is our only hope...wilcox made of glass...collins a big stiff

I would also mention that Sullinger's advanced stats are really impressive.  He should probably start based on his offensive and rebounding stats.

I think that was on Doc for not playing him. I believe he wouldve came back if he's getting significant PT.

Plenty of blame to go around.

One of the biggest changes is the play of Bass.  His jumpshot has really fallen off, and his defense has taken a large step backward.  If he gets it going again, I think we'll be in much better shape.

What about Wyc?

What about the Fans?

I think most of the blame should go to the refs personally. Im sure I could argue enough calls in every game to get us a few more wins  ;D
