The folks at SBNation heard the complaints and criticisms and other feedback and made adjustments.  So for all you who have decided to skip the front page and go directly to the forums, please give the front page one more chance.

if you still don't like it, fine, no problem, skip it and come here

if you like it better, great - and know that the developers are going to keep making tweaks to make it better and better as time goes by

cheers

the new version of the front page is a definite improvement.  not as good as the version before all the recent changes but the newest version is more user-friendly and I don't feel going there is a pain anymore.

The new layout is a HUGE improvement. As somebody who does web development part-time I was baffled by the confusing layout they presented us in the first iteration. This one is much more intuitive. Well done.

I like it alot better than the last setup, definitely a step in the right direction. I like that the recent forum posts and fan posts are featured prominently on the right.

I also like that the front page is alot tidier and screen size is better used. Still some issues with it, but I definitely like it alot better than the old one.

Great job with the updates.  I am happy just to have a direct link to the forum from the front page.  Thanks for all your hard work.
cheers

Yuuuuuuuge improvement, still preferred the older version better but I'm guessing it wasn't generating the clicks. I'm happy to give SBNation the clicks for ad money if it means us continuing to get the quality writing it provides.
